I do not think we will ever forget all of the emotions we had when we first moved out to our new home. When I said move out it was no exaggeration. The only things out here were the animals and they were every where. We loved it but when night came around it could get a little scary. It gave my wife and myself a little of an uneasy feeling but for my kids I would not have called it uneasy I would have called it down right scared. The one thing we had to entertain us at night was our computer.To begin with we had no high speed internet access service. We had a very here and there internet service. That is what our neighbors called it. Because sometimes it was here and then sometimes it was there! When I had to leave my family in our new home on the first night we were there I felt as uneasy as my wife did but I told them I would talk to them online. Realizing this was a long shot that it would stay up it did give us a little comfort. A storm went through on the very night I left. The internet was taken down and we were without contact. Our cell phones did not make contact so they were on their own. When I got home of course everything was alright. My wife said they made games out of counting the animals in the yard as the lightening lite up the sky. I have a new appreciation for the internet now. It is more to us then something fun to have. We now have great internet service and not a day goes by we are not thankful for it. All of the new families get to move into a fully functioning neighborhood internet, newspapers and all but they love to hear our first nights story!
