Since the invention of the portable computer there have been those that wanted to control and master them. This can be a good thing because since the internet the amount of spam coming over it has become a major problem and nuance for business and corporations. Along with anti-virus software there are some other cool tools like keylogger, a monitoring software that allows you to efficiently log what key strokes and what your computer user are doing. Some of the remote control spy ware is pretty cool for monitoring computers. I know no one likes to be monitored, but sometimes it is a necessary evil. One of the shining examples of spy ware is use of parental control software that monitors your child activities, I wish I had this software when my children were little. This also helps parents restrict access and filter what you child can and cannot see. This can be a good thing. In some cases this is the type of software to have to control what can be done on a computer. Businesses use filtering of certain domains for their computers, which can limit where you can go or not. The funny thing is they spend alot of time and energy doing this.
